Sales Development Representative

The SDR is responsible for identifying, developing, and driving revenue inside Cloudera's total addressable market. This big data market is huge and expanding; our SDR's funnel that demand into actionable sales opportunities that lead to closed deals!In this role you will:Engage with prospects via telephone and emailDrive new business via outbound prospecting and cold calling into must-win strategic accountsQualify inbound leads and turn them into pipeline opportunitiesGain in-depth knowledge about data management spacePartner with experienced Account ExecutivesOvercome prospect objectionsUpdate prospect interactions and statuses in salesforce.com to ensure efficient lead managementRun Account Based Sales Development (ABSD) plays into Cloudera's most strategic accountsHave fun!Qualifications:You are fun to be aroundYou are competitiveYou value teamworkYou've done something exceptionalYou have a track record of thriving in a self starting environment leveraging your drive, creativity, and intellectExcellent verbal and written skillsOutstanding organization and time management skillsBA/BS degree from leading university or 4 years relevant work experience.
