Product Designer

Our client is is a fast-growing startup (marketplace) that is revolutionizing "Big & Bulky" logistics. There mission is to simplify the delivery process and make it more efficient and cost-effective for our customers across all industries.

As a Product Designer joining our team in Mexico City, you are stepping into a pivotal role driving the UI/UX strategy, vision. This position requires a strategic thinker who can navigate the complexities of coordinating with the Operations, Supply,, and Technology teams to drive the optimal design. Your challenge will be to devise and implement innovative designs to solve our complex operations. This involves identifying design pain points in the affiliate processes, leveraging user interaction data to inform your strategies, and working closely with product manager, developers &  cross-functional teams to execute these visions effectively. 

Responsibilities

  • Design with Vision
    • Create innovative, user-centric designs that set a new standard for logistics tech.
    • Own the product design process from ideation to execution, pushing boundaries to create intuitive and delightful experiences.
  • Champion the User
    • Dive deep into the behaviors and needs of enterprise partners and non-tech-savvy drivers.
    • Translate complex logistics workflows into simple, seamless user journeys.
  • Build for Scale
    • Develop scalable design solutions that can adapt to a rapidly growing marketplace.
    • Establish a robust design system to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
  • Collaborate at a High Level
    • Partner closely with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver exceptional features.
    • Participate in strategy sessions to define product vision and roadmap, with a focus on user experience and scalability.
  • Test and Iterate Relentlessly
    • Conduct usability testing and leverage analytics to measure the success of designs.
    • Rapidly prototype, test, and refine ideas in an agile environment.
  • Think Beyond the Pixel
    • Contribute to shaping the overall product and user experience strategy, considering business goals, technical constraints, and market trends.

  • Experience: 4+ years of product design experience, ideally at a high-growth startup
  • Experience in designing web app, mobile apps
  • Portfolio: A proven track record of designing impactful digital products, showcasing a strong design process and creative problem-solving.
  • Maps based Design
  • Prior experience in building for logistics
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, user-obsessed, data-driven, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
  • Tools: Mastery of design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. 
  • Technical Savvy: A solid understanding of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS/JS familiarity is a plus).
  • Global Perspective: Ability to design for diverse user bases, including non-tech-savvy audiences.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

    Salary Range : 50 - 65 K pesos per month
