The Role
As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you are a customer facing consultant driving best practices and problem solving for our customers. You’ll work closely with our customers, guiding them through their cloud journey. This is a consultative engineering role meaning your ability to understand business challenges, communicate solutions effectively, and collaborate with teams is just as important as your technical expertise. Our customers come back to us time and time again as our engineers engage, build rapport and understand our customer needs and deliver solutions to support them.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure to support customer needs.
• Advising and collaborating with clients to optimize their cloud environments using AWS best practices.
• Automating infrastructure and workflows using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Developing scripts and automation tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to enhance efficiency.
• Guiding customers through cloud security, networking, and governance best practice reviews and implement recommended improvements.
• Contributing to continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge-sharing within our team.
• Creating clear and precise documentation and handing over to customer’s engineering teams.

What We’re Looking For
We understand that no one checks every box. If you’re passionate about cloud technology, consulting, and solving complex problems, we’d love to hear from you. You might be a great fit if you have:

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, simple terms.
• The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and customers, adapting to different needs and perspectives.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools).
• A strong grasp of cloud security best practices and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• AWS certifications (or a willingness to obtain them—we’ll support your learning!).
• A passion for providing customers with the best experience possible.
