Customer Analytics Intern

CMT is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic college student or recent graduate for a Data Analysis Internship on our Customer Solutions team. As a CMT intern, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and the world’s largest telematics datasets to extract valuable insights and create informative visualizations. You'll be a key member of our team, playing a vital role in pulling insights that will be used to create dashboards that help guide our business.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large and complex datasets using state-of-the-art tools and technologies
• Create visually appealing and informative data visualizations and dashboards
• Work with the Customer Solutions, Customer Success, and Technical Support teams to identify and refine key metrics for internal and external use
• Contribute to reports and other communication materials that highlight the insights you've uncovered
• Track your work in JIRA
• Develop your skills in data analysis, visualization, and communication, and gain valuable experience

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a college or university program in a related field (e.g. computer science, statistics, data analytics, data science, business analytics, economics, etc.)
• Ability to work at least two days per week in our Cambridge, MA office
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred) 
• Problem-solving skills and a passion for finding answers in data
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently on assigned tasks
