Accountant cum Admin

Overview

As an Accountant cum Admin, you will play an important role in ensuring smooth financial operations and administrative support within our organization. You will manage key accounting activities, support internal teams with requests, and contribute to the success of company events and operations through effective logistics and vendor coordination. This role suits a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting expertise and operational agility.

Responsibilities:

Accounting:

  • Assist in managing external bookkeepers and tax advisors to ensure accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping for monthly closings.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including:
    • Checking vouchers, contracts, and payment records to ensure all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled.
    • Organizing and storing required documentation to facilitate proper bookings and ensure compliance with current accounting/tax regimes and company procedures.
    • Handling electronic payment transactions for operational payments and supporting respective country managers.
    • Overseeing invoicing and revenue collection in collaboration with in-country teams.
    • Reconciling and reviewing transactions in the Accounting System.
  • Prepare Tax declaration and finalization, value-added tax (VAT), foreign contractor tax (FCT), corporate income tax (CIT), and other regulatory filings (e.g., statistical, DPI, and other reports).
  • Manage the audited year-end financial process in cooperation with external auditors.
  • Prepare special evaluations and reports for founders.
  • Other tasks assigned by the manager.

Administrative:

  • Support employee requests, including reimbursements and documentation.
  • Assist in managing administrative tasks in collaboration with the office manager in Vietnam.
  • Provide operational support, including logistics planning for events, vendor selection, and procurement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Fluent English skills in all skills.
  • Strong background in accounting, with preference for candidates with experience in a Big Four firm or a technology company.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Careful, patient, and have a sense of responsibility at work
  • Familiarity with financial software and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Three days remote every week and four full remote weeks per year.
