The Opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring full time Coffee Shop Baristas to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Coffee Shop Barista, you will display a positive attitude with guests and co-workers while accurately ringing up merchandise and product in an efficient manner.
Minimum pay rate: $13.85 / hour

*Responsibilities*
*

• Greet and provide information to guests while using suggestive selling techniques.
• Serve food and beverages in correct proportions, and follow proper sanitation guidelines.
• Participate in the opening, clean up, closing procedures, and inventory. Notify supervisor of deficiencies.
• Process POS and cash sales, provide receipts and accurate change.
• Account for all transactions; maintain accurate cash count and balance bank at end of shift.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications*
*

• Ability to communicate with guests and staff, and provide friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively while alone and in a team.
• Requires basic math skills.
• Must be comfortable handling cash and working with inventory.

Physical Requirements*
*

• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand the entire length of shift with frequent bending, stooping, carrying, walking, and reaching.
• Requires manual dexterity to repeatedly grasp and move items.
• Exposure to and use of chemicals required to clean and sanitize equipment, surfaces, and areas.
