Dental Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician specializing in removable products to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating high-quality removable dental prosthetics, including dentures, partials, and other removable appliances. This role requires precision, artistry, and a strong understanding of dental anatomy and materials.


Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate complete and partial dentures, including metal frameworks and acrylic bases.
  • Construct bite rims and custom impression trays.
  • Set teeth for wax try-ins and process dentures.
  • Perform relines, repairs, and adjustments on removable prosthetics.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure accurate and functional prosthetic appliances.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used.
  • Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in dental technology preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Technician with a focus on removable products.
  • Proficiency in using dental laboratory equipment and materials.
  • Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology (NBC).
  • Experience with digital denture design and fabrication.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology and 3D printing.


Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work with hands for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity to handle small tools and materials.
  • Good visual acuity to perform detailed work.
