The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in Spark in Scala Databricks Unity Catalog Admin Amazon Redshift Python Databricks SQL Databricks Delta Lake Databricks Workflows and PySpark. Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.· Experience with Manufacturing IOT data architecture and Engineering· Experience with creating data models for IOT Data· experience with “Namespaces” is must have· AWS experience is must have· Experience with Edge computing preferred· Responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Big Data stack such as Databricks Spark Scala Python AWS S3 Glue ETL Redshift· Design Ingress and Egress patterns for data lake to support self service use cases and improve time to business value.· Implement CI CD data pipelines using Git Hub GHA and Artifactory to automate the code build and promotion process· Engage with customers and principal architects understand the business requirements and build AWS cloud big data platform and solutions· Create proof of concepts implement frameworks evaluate new products and develop a roadmap for NextGen Technology and Digital Cloud First strategy· Engage in projects as needed work collaboratively with other team members communicate effectively and contribute to team success Lead technical discussions with both internal and external vendors· Cost Analysis and recommendations are provided for the platform technologies so that the client can make effective decisions on platform technologyThe annual salary for this position is between $[145,000 – 155,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:• Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance• Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off• 401(k) plan and contributions• Long-term/Short-term Disability• Paid Parental Leave• Employee Stock Purchase PlanDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
