Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers.Location: Raleigh, NC.• *Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future**Responsibilities• Lead the design and development of iOS native applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness.• Oversee the architecture and technical design of mobile applications to meet business requirements.• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team to enhance their skills and productivity.• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define design and ship new features.• Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of applications.• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure alignment to standard processes.• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application remains current and competitive.• Develop and implement strategies to improve the scalability and reliability of the application.• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.• Monitor and analyze application performance to identify areas for improvement.• Ensure the security and integrity of the application by implementing standard methodologies and security measures.• Document technical specifications and project plans to ensure clear communication and understanding among team members.Qualifications:• 8 to10 years of experience.• Possess a strong understanding of iOS frameworks and best practices.• Demonstrate expertise in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.• Have experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries integration.• Show proficiency in version control systems like Git.• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.• Be capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.• Hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field.• Nice to have experience with Agile methodologies.Travel: 0-5%Why Choose Cognizant?Our associates enjoy robust benefits and training opportunities from our industry recognized, award winning Academy team.
