Lead Java Full Stack EngineerWe are seeking a Lead Java Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Spring Boot Angular JS, Java, JavaScript and MySQL. Experience in the Payer domain is mandatory. This role involves developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with our company’s goals and benefit society.Location: Phoenix, AZ or Remote• *Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States**ResponsibilitiesBuilding and consuming both RESTful API endpoints and asynchronous events to implement business logic.Building reusable code and libraries to be leveraged across our team and technology stack.Design reusable components, frameworks, and librariesPartner closely with architecture teams and drive solutionsParticipate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases through sprints.Communicating thoughtfully with team members through design review, code review, and day-to-day collaboration, review code, and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance.Identify and resolve security and compliance findings.troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and develop solutions as requiredQualificationsBachelor’s degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related disciplineShould have at least 8+ years of experience in development using Angular & JavaPossess a strong background in Typescript.Should have very good hands-on experience in the requested skill sets (PostgreSQL, API Development, Cloud Azure, Jasmine, Karma, GraphQL & JavaDisplay strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Salary and Other Compensation:Applications will be accepted until 10/11/2024.The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:• Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance• Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off• 401(k) plan and contributions• Long-term/Short-term Disability• Paid Parental Leave• Employee Stock Purchase PlanDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
