We offer the most comprehensive digital engineering expertise and client-centric methodology for balanced innovation.Location: Woonsocket – RI or Remote on USA.Responsibilities· Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement new features and enhancements.· Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.· Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.· Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.· Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.· Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.· Implement best practices for software development including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes and testing.· Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.· Document software designs code and processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.· Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and team productivity.Qualifications· 6 to 10 years of experience in Java.· Experience working with AWS, SQL ,Spring Boot, Angular JS, Java, JavaScript and MySQL· Possess a strong understanding of AWS services and architecture.· Demonstrate proficiency in SQL for database management and querying.· Have extensive experience with Spring Boot for building robust backend services.· Show expertise in Angular JS for developing dynamic front-end applications.· Be highly skilled in Java and JavaScript for full-stack development.· Have hands-on experience with MySQL for database management.· Exhibit domain knowledge in the Payer industry to understand and address specific business needs.· Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.· Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in US without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future*Salary and Other Compensation:Applications will be accepted until 9/25/2024The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 to 131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:• Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance• Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off• 401(k) plan and contributions• Long-term/Short-term Disability• Paid Parental Leave• Employee Stock Purchase PlanDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
