Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the “team”, drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.Location: Newark, NJ.Work Authorization• Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)Roles & Responsibilities:• Sr. software engineer who works directly with client's agile team• Should possess NodeJS, JavaScript, Typescript and React UI• Working closely with PO & Business stake holders• Collaboration and coordination with offshore team members and giving technical direction and code reviews• 70% hands own coding• Design and development of new features based on client requirements.• Getting design sign off with architecture team• Java developer with Spring Boot hands on experience• Able to take technology decisions independently and perform POC & provide reference implementation.• Release management and prod application support• Full ownership on the application lifecycle including the source code management and deployment.Qualifications• Should have 8+ years’ experience in software development• Strong knowledge in NodeJS• Desired skills are React UI, AWS• Should possess JavaScript and Rest API knowledge• The onsite developer will also work as a lead and should be able work closely with the Client technical lead/Application architect for customer• Should have strong knowledge in CI/CD pipelines• Experience in Agile methodologyApplications will be accepted until August 26 2024.The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 – $131,500depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.• This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Why Choose Cognizant?It takes a lot to succeed in today’s fast-paced market, and Cognizant Technology Solutions has become a leader in the industry.
