Then keep reading - you’ve come to the right place.Role DescriptionForm Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our talented and growing Project Engineering team within the Commercial Operations group. The Project Engineering team is instrumental in building, deploying, and commissioning projects and will be invaluable in scaling our utility-scale storage projects utilizing Form’s breakthrough multi-day storage technology.The Construction Manager is a new position reporting to the Senior Director of Project Engineering. This position will lead the deployment and drive construction projects through to completion, working closely with external suppliers, contractors, customers, and other internal teams to execute construction projects.If this sounds like the perfect position for you, apply now! This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!This role requires high travel to Form’s project sites.What you'll do:• Oversee and direct construction projects from mobilization through commercial operation• Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that project scopes, schedules, specifications and quality standards are met• Coordinate and solve multidisciplinary technical field issues with contractors• Be responsible for construction safety and enforce safety practices• Manage project sites and coordinate all deliveries and sequencing of construction activities• Communicate project needs, changes, and status to internal and external stakeholders• Identify opportunities for design and constructability improvements• Define and set up processes for construction documentation, including RFIs, logs, punch lists etc.• Ensure that all onsite work complies with regulatory requirements, codes and standards, best practices, and other contractual requirementsWhat you'll bring:• 8+ years of experience in commercial/industrial construction, including 4+ years in renewable energy or energy storage projects• Expert knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods, including construction management software tools• Experience with reading and developing construction schedules (Primavera P6 or equivalent) and attention to detail, and excellent project management skills• Background and experience with major EPC or large capital construction projects is preferred• Resourceful and collaborative team player capable of working effectively with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders in a fast-paced startup environment• Well-developed written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel and work at remote project sites 80-90% of the time and hold a valid driver’s license in good standing• Eligibility and willingness to apply for General Contractor license in multiple states#LI-DNIHumanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.
