Customer Service Representative - Becker

Position Overview:

As a member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in providing top-notch service to both internal and external customers. What You'll Do
  • Handle all incoming service-related inquiries via phone and electronic communication avenues
  • Follows up with students as necessary
  • Adhere to established departmental metrics by level
  • Handle customer escalations and/or difficult conversations by utilizing active listening and de-escalation strategies
  • Troubleshoot general customer support technical questions
  • Document all interactions in CRM system in accordance with established criteria and SLAs
  • Collaborate with other departments and functional areas to deliver an optimal student experience
  • Acquire and maintain basic understanding of Becker products and systems necessary for effective job performance
  • Be open to other’s viewpoints and experiences
  • Demonstrate empathy, patience and understanding
  • Assist with projects, initiatives and other duties as assigned


What You'll Need to Succeed
  • 1+ years of customer service or related experience required
  • Bachelors Degree preferred, not required
  • Ability to work a variety of office hours including multiple evenings, and weekends
  • High level of interpersonal, professional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team
  • PC skills in Microsoft Office, Internet applications and database software
  • Strong verbal and writing skills
  • Must be comfortable with change and able to shift focus quickly
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Able to work in a virtual environment free from noise and other distractions
  • Must have reliable remote internet connection
