As an Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist you will have to posses the following:
Collections:
Ability to collect and resolve customer billing disputes is paramount for this role
Facilitate customer account research, analysis, and issue resolution
Forecasting and accountability for cash collections for assigned regions
Account reconciliations. Assist with inquiries and ensure customer accounts have accurate adjustments and compliant billings
Provide customer statements, and ensure invoice delivery including emailing, acquiring portal access, uploading, and associated responsibilities
Communication:
Must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly to external and internal customers to request payments, to resolve disputes, and respond to inquiries
Update system, and required reporting, to reflect customer account and invoice status. Follow procedures, and ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, legal statutes, and company policies
Collaboration:
Enthusiastically collaborate to support team members in continuous improvement philosophy and behaviors
Accountable to utilize standard processes and policies and achieve individual and team metrics
Provide timely reporting and participate in team meetings to help drive for results with corporate cash collections and other Key Performance Indicators
Willingly share knowledge and information
Perform other duties and related special projects, as required
Qualifications:
The work location for this role is Hybrid requiring 60% of the work to be performed in office (Beaverton, OR, Tuesday-Thursday).
Must have strong written and oral communication skills (English). Able to demonstrate advanced communication skills within a team environment and capable of working virtually within an independent setting
Must have a minimum of three to five years of collections experience
Must be a fast learner and savvy with computer software tools such as proficiency with Microsoft applications—including intermediate skills with Excel
Business and financial acumen; a tenacious critical thinker with strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills
Must be able to work through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Basic AR accounting experience required to research, reconcile, and resolve account issues
Detail oriented individual with proficient organization and time management skills
Sense of urgency and commitment to our customers as well as the success of our organization
Strong character, ethics, and a high standard of performance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP systems, Oracle R-12 and/or Oracle Cloud Fusion
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
