College of Health and Human Development Online Adjunct Instructors

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The College of Health and Human Development periodically has part-time openings for Instructors to teach online courses in the following academic areas:

  • Biobehavioral Health
  • Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Health Policy and Administration
  • Human Development and Family Studies
  • Kinesiology
  • Nutritional Sciences
  • Recreation, Park and Tourism Management

These are one semester, non-tenure track Part-Time teaching positions with the possibility of reappointment. Part-Time Instructors typically teach one to two courses per semester. The individual must be able to work effectively with diverse populations and audiences. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arises. Candidates will need to upload a letter of application indicating area of interest and resume/CV. A Master's Degree or equivalent education and experience is required for these positions.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here .
