This role will leverage existing programs to create solutions to obtain relevant Engineering-related data and turn this data into actionable insights. Candidates should possess experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableu, ERP systems, programming and relational databases, business process automation and project management, including team facilitation.This individual will seek to develop relationships within organizations in and across Collins Aerospace. This individual will work with multiple MiS Engineering teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement related to data analytics and reporting, serving key stakeholders. Candidates should also have the knowledge to:• Develop a Performance Measures and Data Collection strategic plan• Automate, clean, transform, cross-reference and merge large sources of data• Leverage strong data analytics skills with the ability to prepare, process, analyze, and visualize significant amounts of information from multiple data sources while keeping the big picture in mind• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to establish, prepare, support, and track key organizational metrics to provide actionable information that drives improvements to key processes• Identify data trends, generate insights, and come to business conclusions to support strategic decision making across the organizationWhat YOU Will Do:• Compile and analyze large and complex data sets requiring multiple problem-solving techniques• Understand the reports, tables, fields and data points within SAP, Epicor, Snowflake, and SQL databases• Summarize data sets from various sources to provide actionable insights, identify trends, measure performance to allow executive and site leadership target process improvements and standard process opportunities• Assist in the integration of multiple data sources, resulting from the consolidation of multiple heritage businesses and systems into relevant and equivalent data sets to develop a common story via analytics tools• Independently make decisions regarding the data, seeking little to no direction from others• Provide guidance and recommendations to the SBU business leaders and teams to support their decision making with the data at hand• Self-sufficient and driven to take initiative and ownership of data, analytics, and reportingWhat YOU Will Learn:• Learn about the Engineering & Technology functional organization• Learn about the Pursuit to Order Capture and Design & Development lifecycle management phases• Learn to thrive and be supported in a dynamic team-driven environment• Learn to become a champion within our CORE Operating SystemsQualifications You Must Have:• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required• https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62• Must have experience with data analytics and a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and recommendations to executive leadership to make business decisions using the data analyzed• Proven experience with Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake and SAP BEx Analyzer, BEx Query Designer, and/or Lumira• Proven Experience with being a Solutions-focused problem solver – Designing and delivering solutions that meet organizational needs and turning data into information to drive targeted actions to improve performance• Experience leading efforts and development with minimal oversight, sets objectives and guides others on execution/approach for achievement of operational results• Experience engaging with all levels of the organization – ability to process and present complex information in a concise and compelling manner to non-technical audiences.Qualifications We Prefer:• CORE or Six-Sigma skillset is a plus, but not required• Experience accessing databases such as Oracle and MS SQL server• Experience with UI/UX best practices and visualization techniques needed to develop intuitive, interactive data interface solutions.• Experience with best practices for database administration, data warehousing, security procedures and products• Detail oriented, driven, motivated, and energetic individualWhat We Offer:• Medical, dental, and vision insurance• Three weeks of vacation for newly hired employees• Generous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds and separate employer retirement contribution, including a Lifetime Income Strategy option• Tuition reimbursement program• Student Loan Repayment Program• Life insurance and disability coverage• Optional coverages you can buy pet insurance, home and auto insurance, additional life and accident insurance, critical illness insurance, group legal, ID theft protection• Birth, adoption, parental leave benefits• Ovia Health, fertility, and family planning• Adoption Assistance         • Autism Benefit• Employee Assistance Plan, including up to 10 free counseling sessions• Healthy You Incentives, wellness rewards program• Doctor on Demand, virtual doctor visits• Bright Horizons, child and elder care services• Teladoc Medical Experts, second opinion program• And more! Learn More & Apply Now!Mission Systems:Do you want to be a part of something bigger? The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
