Engineering a world of possibilitiesThe Department of Economics and Business at Colorado School of Mines invites applications for a part-time position as an instructor for Business Decisions Optimization (Prescriptive Analytics) (master's level) during the Spring 2025 semester.The Business Decisions Optimization course aims to identify the best decisions for organizations, and it is the main factor that differentiates Business Analytics from Data Analytics. Specifically, this course focuses on the art of model building using linear, integer and mixed-integer programming for business applications in several areas such as production, supply chain management, and finance. It also provides insights into specially structured models, and fundamental skills on model enhancement techniques.These courses will be offered in a face-to-face format.
