Commercial Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Finance team to support our Client Service Director in a range of commercial activities for our commercial portfolio. As we grow, we need to ensure that we are making data driven decisions to ensure our existing supply is optimised and the new supply is reaching its potential. This role uniquely combines commercial analysis with client relationships and will be ideally suited for someone looking to move into a broader career in commercial finance.

Requirements

Here's an idea of what your days will look like:

• Gain an in-depth understanding of our clients and their deal financials;
• Commercial analysis on the portfolio to identify trends and make proactive recommendations;
• Provide data-backed recommendations to support revenue growth across the portfolio via pricing, occupancy and upsell strategies;
• Identify areas where sites are underperforming and take action to resolve this;
• Commercial point of contact for a selection of top clients including quarterly performance updates, client calls and new site forecasting;
• Provide data and insight to the Client Services Director and Client Managers that form part of presentations to upsell JustPark products and services;
• Assistance with contract negotiations on existing portfolio clients (renewals, contract amendments etc.);
• In conjunction with the Commercial Manager and business leaders provide detailed analysis on portfolio performance for the executive team;
• Ad hoc analysis to support strategic transactions;

Our ideal candidate will have these skills:

• Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or Economics;
• 2+ years of experience in commercial analysis/FP&A function
• Excellent analytical/numerical skills - including strong attention to detail and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Looker or power BI
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to recommend clear decisions and to convey messages in a concise manner.
