Job Description


The Commercial Finance Business Partner is responsible for financial management of portfolio of our clients, their commercial agreements, reporting and general day-to-day activities. You will have direct reporting line into a VP – Client Finance Business Partner, with a strong dotted line to the leadership of dedicated Vertical Market or a Client Portfolio lead. This is a high visibility as it supports a business leader(s) who has a “seat at the leadership table” with their respective management teams.

Finance:

  • Reviews and provides advice on strategic financial plans in partnership with business leaders to make key decisions and achieve targets
  • Analyses consolidated budgets and forecasts, and provides interpretation, insight and guidance
  • Identifies and drives operational improvement through analysis of financial plans, management information and performance
  • Works with business leaders to understand short, medium and long-term resource requirements and impact on forecasts and budgets
  • Supports analysis of client profitability and identifies and supports initiatives to improve profitability/margin
  • Supports the Operational Finance Director, Financial Controller and / or Market FD, as necessary with high quality and insightful analysis as requested. Works with these leaders to deliver impact with the business while implementing best practice financial planning techniques in line with business needs while supporting initiatives to improve the quality and consistency of business and finance data
  • Support the designated Client Lead with preparation of contractual scope negotiation analysis and executive presentations, including the management of client staffing plans
  • Support of business development efforts Existing and New Logo clients
  • Work closely with the client leads, markets and sister agencies in the U.S. and globally where needed to ensure their billing processes align to the client agreement
  • Support client teams in identifying commercial approaches to unlocking incremental revenue opportunities/sources
  • This position is responsible for handling highly confidential information, requiring an ability to maintain and display high ethical standards including confidentiality, discretion, and exemplary judgment with respect to such information.
  • Facilitate management of revenue forecast in MSFT D365 and pipeline within Salesforce

Client & Internal Relationships

  • Develop and maintain relationships with agency personnel related to financial and commercial processes and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain relationships with client personnel related to financial and commercial processes and deliverables
  • Provide reporting and analysis support to client teams as needed
  • Work with client teams to ensure revenue tracking systems are up to date
  • Work closely with the client teams to stay abreast of changes and modifications to client budgets
  • Is approachable and solution-oriented when presented with problems/issues by staff and team
  • Breaks down problems and issues into critical parts which can be resolved


Qualifications
  • BA/BS from a four-year college or university and 5 – 10 years of Financial Management, Finance and Operations Management, and Project Accounting experience.
  • Experience managing financial and business operations in a customer-focused service firm with multi-location structure.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically with Excel.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and earn respect quickly across the organization.
  • Ability to collaborate with other functional groups such as Human Resources, Accounting and Sales Support, as well as to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action in a timely manner
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents and respond effectively to the most sensitive issues

The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000-$121,500. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. #LI-TE1
