Commission Analyst
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced individual contributor to join Fortinet’s Commission Team. This Commission Analyst is responsible for administering APAC commissions and incentive payments. The role will partner with Business Leadership, Sales Operations, HR, and Payroll to ensure commission calculation logic and data in the commission tool are implemented accurately and according to approved commission plans. This role will also be responsible for addressing employee commission inquiries, performing validations, and obtaining required approvals. This position is critical in ensuring the Sales Compensation plans are executed as designed.
Responsibilities:
- Administer compensation plans and commission calculations in SAP Commission Tool.
- Produce accrual narrative and support the month-end close process.
- Become proficient with SAP, the company’s calculation system: running pipelines, navigating, and creating reports.
- Maintain and manage high volume of commission data inputs: Participant information, Credit Rules, Manual exceptions in SAP and more.
- Provide input and recommendations for streamlining processes and making process improvements.
- Answer and resolve commission dispute tickets.
- Variance analysis.
- Perform a read-out analysis of the commission payout monthly and submit pay files to Payroll.
- Create ad hoc reporting and financial projects.
- Support SOX audits.
Required Skills:
- 3 - 5 years of relevant Commission, or Sales Ops experience, preferably in the technology industry
- Advanced MS Excel skills, Knowledge of SAP Commission preferred.
- Proficient in manipulating systems tools and large amounts of data.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, growing, market leading technology company.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred, or 5+ years of commission/compensation experience.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $95,000-$158,000. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.
