Aren’t you ready for a change?Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following• Provides clinical oversight of all aspects of the client care continuum ensuring clients are receiving quality care meeting & exceeding AODE license standards in a correctional setting.• Reviews complex cases, makes recommendations for clients care and ensures that all the appropriate documentation is in the clinical file.• Implements and enforces, assists in review and development of policies and procedures within Division of Addiction Services.• Ensures that all staff are informed of procedural and or program changes and assist them in navigating those changes.• Supervises & coordinates the work of assigned staff. Approves overtime,leave requests and timesheets and conducts performance evaluations. Assists in the recruitment & retention of staff.• Monitors compliance with Division expenditures to meet budgetary objectives.• Ensure all clinical staff comply with the Substance Abuse Counselor Code of Ethics and adhere to all Division and Corrections Policies and Procedures.The ideal candidate should possess the• Ability to work in a close setting and within all State and Federally mandated deadlines.• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to multitask with a proven history of sound decision making in high stress situations.• Ability to think critically and analyze data to forecast positive outcomes.• Ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the Department and Division.Minimum RequirementsEDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Four years of professional experience in the administration of human services programs, emergency management services, emergency medical technician, paramedic, or related field.Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree in social work, health administration, labor relations, public or business administration or related field will substitute for one year of the required experience.Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Administrative or business experience, or professional, subprofessional, or clerical work in a human services area, emergency management services, emergency medical technician, paramedic, or related field will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONEWorking ConditionsIncumbents working in this job title typically perform duties in an office setting.
