Communications Coordinator - job 2 of 2

Our Communications team seeks an organized and multifaceted Communications Coordinator to support development of our brand, social media and web presence, as well as coordination of our communications efforts. The selected candidate will report to the Communications Manager, while working closely with the Partners, Directors, and Studio at Marvel to develop content and narratives for new and ongoing projects, as well as support internal and external communications, specifically as it regards to our office in San Juan, PR.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
• Experience copywriting and writing short form material
• Professional experience in Communications, and Public Relations, Content Creation
• Professional experience with WordPress, OpenAsset, and Adobe CC
• Experience in video and photo production
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as time management and team coordination skills
• Must be fully bilingual (Spanish/English)

Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of social media strategy and content creation through photography, videography, image curation, graphic design, and copywriting
• Generate posts for Marvel blog, collaborating with architects and studio to generate content
• Develop internal communications, presentations and visual material
• Create images and graphics for social media and digital channels
• Update and maintain website and DAM, organizing media and updating portfolio
• Edit videos and photos for digital publication, managing and organizing files for long term storage
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and external photographers to document in-process and completed projects within San Juan office
• Process invoices from external vendors
• Assist on video and photoshoots, researching projects, setting up and breaking down audio and video equipment
• Establish and maintain communications with various internal teams and outside sources
