This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Communications Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Support the team in writing and editing news articles and feature stories for internal media channels
• Develop content for internal social media
• Assist with PowerPoint presentations
• Generate ideas for internal videos and support their production
• Manage the roll-out of an office branding project
• Distribute content through the SharePoint intranet site and company mass mail app
• Work with team to plan and organize onsite office events

This position may suit you best if you’re familiar with the following and would like to pursue a career with Siemens Healthineers:

• You have experience in writing for and/or producing content for multi-media communications,
• such as websites, social media, blogs, videos, etc.
• You’re interested in and have online media experience.
• You can be onsite at the Siemens Healthineers Tarrytown, NY, office at least 2-3 days a week.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

• Preferred 3.0 GPA
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program Majoring in Communications, Journalism, or related program (minimum rising junior preferred)
• You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
• You have strong presentation, communication, and critical thinking skills
• You have experience working with the Microsoft Office suite of products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
• You have proven experience in working independently
