The Job

 

As our Community Manager, you will work with our platform dev team and content labs team to determine and execute the best social media strategies for Wevr Virtual Studio. 

This is an exciting position for a creative individual who loves 3D content creation and gaming, social media, brand marketing, being the voice of the brand, and fostering a community of advocates. We’re looking for someone who will engage creators in conversation on forums and social channels and will support the creation of community content such as FAQs, how-tos, and troubleshooting guides.

The ideal candidate is a strong teammate with critical thinking skills and who thrives in environments where they won’t be micromanaged, but can also take direction and ensure that direction is implemented successfully.

 

The Day to Day

 

  • Lead the development and execution of community engagement programs, creating compelling content for community channels, and monitor the forums
  • Author community and social daily publishing including maintenance of the brand community and social programming calendar for global use
  • Partner with the studio team to provide developer relations, create social messaging on owned and operated channels
  • Create community and social channel strategy, content calendars, and set up KPIs to measure success
  • Measure, monitor, and report on specific program performance and longer-term trends as well as other industries related to community influencer efforts
  • Consolidate and report on worldwide community trends, topics, and sentiment
  • Collaborate with the team to create developer diaries
  • Develop and execute streaming programs for Discord, Twitch, YouTube, and others.

 

The Must-Haves

 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in community and social media management.
  • Deep interest and involvement in game and real-time 3D development and community.
  • Knowledge of brand communications, social, and gaming ecosystems is required
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with multiple departments and all levels of the organization
  • Strong initiative, self-motivated and problem-solving ability
