Company Driver

Role Overview
The Company Driver will be responsible for driving the Executive Leadership Team to and from various destinations which can include, but are not limited to the Philadelphia, Delaware, New Jersey and New York areas. The Company Driver will safely and efficiently operate a company-issued vehicle while maintaining the strictest of confidentiality. This position will be based in Philadelphia and will report to Executive Administrative Assistant. The candidate must be polished, reliable, and pride themselves with providing white glove service. A poised demeanor, exceptional driving skills and clean driving record are a must. The Company Driver is expected to possess outstanding skills and perform special tasks above those required of a regular driver.



Responsibilities

  • Safely transport the Board of Directors, CEO and Executives as required in company-issued vehicle
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality and professionalism with all passengers
  • Maintain a superior driving record and always operate the vehicle with the utmost safety in mind while adhering to all state and local motor vehicles laws
  • Take direction from the CEO, his assistant, and others regarding travel plans
  • Plan routes in advance to estimate travel times
  • Keep up-to-date records of all business trips including receipts, mileage, and hours worked
  • Responsible for all company property including the maintenance, cleanliness of the company-issued vehicles ensuring the vehicles are regularly cleaned and serviced.
  • Use your knowledge of the local streets and traffic patterns to aide in getting passengers to and from their destination in a safe and timely manner
  • Ensure the vehicle is equipped with the necessary amenities for passenger comfort
  • Provide administrative on demand support as needed

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid driving license
  • 5+ years of experience as a chauffeur for a senior executive
  • Driving in large, populated cities such as Philadelphia, Delaware, New York, and Washington, D.C.
  • Safely navigating driving directions from a GPS device or other means
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all passenger conversations and pick-up/drop-off locations
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High ethics and integrity and extremely reliable
  • Ability to maintain composure during stressful traffic and congestion
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
