Test Technician

Compunetics, Inc. is a manufacturer of state-of-the-art rigid and flexible circuit boards producing products from fast turn high tech multilayer circuit board prototypes to non-traditional, high density and high-speed interconnects which serve a wide variety of customer requirements. 
We’re hiring machine operators.  The jobs are hands-on, the environment is high-tech, and the benefits are excellent.
If you have experience in a manufacturing environment, good troubles shooting skills and the ability to follow directions, we’ll train you.  You’ll operate a wide range of machines and equipment used in the printed circuit board manufacturing process.

Compunetics is seeking an individual to operate several pieces of equipment in the chemical area.   

Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical verification testing on bare printed circuit boards using advanced flying probe and bed-of-nails machinery
  • Review customer drawing and test specs to assure proper test parameters
  • Generate test problems from CAM data provided
  • Troubleshoot failed test results and make minor repairs
Requirements: 
  • Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or electronics preferred
  • Quality Control or Manufacturing experience in electronics or functional testing preferred
  • Experience in the electronics industry a plus
  • Familiarity with IPC A600 or J-STD industry specs beneficial
  • Military experience may be considered in lieu of manufacturing experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of IGI software a bonus
  • Manual dexterity with an Exacto knife
  • Ability and proficiency to work while viewing through a microscope
  • Ability to complete records results of tests and save on company server
  • Ability to communicate with and adjust to changing priorities demanded by company departments
