The Computer Support Technician will be responsible for monitoring the Data Center, assisting with desktop support projects, and providing routine customer support services in the absence of the Help Desk or PC Support. Duties include monitoring critical systems for availability, repairing printers, responding to computer error messages and informational console messages, managing tape media as required, installing desktop computers and software, troubleshooting connectivity and printing issues, providing on-site support to end users, and other duties as assigned.
Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field and two (2) years of computer support and customer service experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus strong interpersonal and communication skills and strong working knowledge of Windows 7/10 and MS Office required.
PC support experience preferred. Experience with web browsers, e-mail systems, and networked computers/printers as well as familiarity with large networked environments, TCP/IP network protocol, Novell, and Active Directory preferred.
PM - 3rd shift. Rotating days, every other weekend. Holidays.
