Registered Nurse Med Surg FT Nights (RN)

Overview:In order to provide compassionate and efficient patient care, the Registered Nurse (RN) must utilize their extensive nursing knowledge and skills. This professional is responsible for coordinating care through the nursing process and working closely with other members of the healthcare team.Responsibilities:Evaluates patient conditions and requirements in the designated section to offer nursing services, ensuring that each patient receives the necessary medical attention.Customized nursing care plans are formulated after reviewing personal patient data, medical reports, and latest health condition.Nursing processes, like medication administration and treatment planning, are essential elements that enable the provision of comprehensive patient care.Confirms the accuracy and compliance of medical records through reconciling them with regulatory standards and organizational policies.Monitoring the effects of interventions on the patient and identifying any further interventions required to reach the established care goals.Collaboratively develops care plans that meet the unique needs of individual patients.Carries through extra assignments as appointed.Qualifications:EDUCATION:Required:• Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred:• Bachelor's Degree in NursingEXPERIENCE:Required:• 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred:• 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizationsLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDRequired:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
