Overview:In this role, the RN Per Diem is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, applying their nursing expertise to promote positive medical outcomes on a per diem basis. Working closely with the healthcare team, this role seeks guidance from senior medical staff to address challenging circumstances and deliver exceptional patient care during designated shifts.Responsibilities:Assists in the provision of personalized care to patients by participating in their evaluations, health assessments, and administering treatment as necessary.The processing of patient data is essential in determining appropriate medical plans, decisions, and actions.Collaborates with other healthcare personnel to ensure the proper implementation of prescribed medical interventions and treatments, emphasizing strict adherence to protocols and the safety of patients.Promotes better patient outcomes by collaborating with healthcare professionals to facilitate communication and coordinated care.Seeking input and advice from senior medical professionals on challenging patient cases and complex healthcare scenarios in order to optimize patient outcomes.Undertakes supplementary duties as given.Qualifications:EDUCATION:Required:• Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred:• Bachelors Degree in NursingEXPERIENCE:Required:1 year as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizationsLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDRequired:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
