The CTO will be responsible for collaborating with the executive team to develop and implement company strategies, particularly focusing on technical organizational development to drive growth and profits. This includes the accountability for the latest operational technologies, guiding manufacturing and engineering groups to enhance processes, talent development, new product innovation, and ensuring quality and efficiency. The CTO will also oversee the company's capital plan and major capital projects. Key duties involve strategic and financial planning, driving technology improvements, spearheading key technology developments, and ensuring environmental health and safety compliance. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering (an MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus), a minimum of 15 years of technical, new product development, and/or project management experience, with a strong preference for experience in plastic injection molding, extrusion, machining, and metal melting/bending.The ideal candidate for the CTO position at the company will have a proven track record of success in a high-growth and transformational organization, with leadership experience in both technical and management teams. They should be a self-motivated, independent, and energetic leader with excellent analytical, planning, communication, time management, and computer skills. The CTO must be adept at driving cultural change, possess strategic thinking with a bias for action, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication abilities. Ethical behavior, open-mindedness, and the ability to build effective relationships with other functional leaders are also essential.
