The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support related to contract documents and transactions, as well as overseeing and managing the company's contract document review program and contract lifecycle management program. This role involves legal review of commercial and transactional documents, drafting contracts, negotiating with internal and external parties, and ensuring the company's legal position is protected.Applicants must have strong business acumen, proficiency in supply chain issues, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously. Essential skills include outstanding client service mentality, technological proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with initiative. Experience with enterprise-wide contract document review programs, Japanese companies, and legal issues such as intellectual property, trade secrets, cybersecurity, data privacy, and confidentiality is beneficial. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to maintain confidentiality and interact effectively with individuals of varied backgrounds.
