Hi there!We are currently producing a docu-drama featuring famous rock/jazz musicians. We're in the early stages of post and are seeking an up-and-coming film editor to join our team.This unpaid opportunity (deferred) would be perfect for a student looking for a stepping stone into the documentary/film industry. We are creating a sizzle reel and potentially editing a 60-minute pilot episode of the limited series.The ideal candidate should be:- Self-motivated and able to work independently (we'll guide but won't micromanage).- Passionate about storytelling and eager to showcase their editing talent on a real-world project.- Passionate about music- rock, jazz, blues, fusion -which is central to the project's narrative.Even though the holidays are upon us, we want to begin looking at interested candidates now and throughout January.
