Litigation Paralegal - job 2 of 9

We are looking for a litigation paralegal that will also handle reception duties. The successful candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process including conducting interviews, document filing and maintaining calendars for the attorneys.Responsibilities• Conduct pre-claim investigation and initial case assessments• Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court• Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc)• Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes• Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices• Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests• Gather relevant information from a variety of sourcesSkills• Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal• Fluent with NYSCEF and federal court e-filing.• Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment• Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detailJob Type: Full-timePay: From $65,000.00 per yearSchedule:• Monday to FridayEducation:• Associate (Preferred)Experience:• Paralegal: 3 years (Required)Ability to Relocate:• New York, NY 10038: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
