UX DesignerLocation: Hybrid in Vienna, VA12 month ContractUSC Citizen PreferredJob Description:To support and/or develop user-centered design solutions for all levels of products and digital initiatives via user interface solutions and interaction models. Develops project execution plans, deployment schedules, and implements User Experience UX design projects of moderate to complex scope. Works independently with limited guidance.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSignificant experience in design fundamentals\t\t\t\tSignificant experience in interaction design, visual design, and industry standards\t\t\t\tSignificant experience in user centered design processes and best practices\t\t\t\tWorking knowledge of best practices for web and mobile-based content, tools, and forms\t\t\t\tAbility to interpret requirements into executable design solutions\t\t\t\tStrong cross-group collaboration and persuasion skills\t\t\t\tAbility to respond quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment\t\t\t\tAdvanced verbal and written communication skills\t\t\t\tSignificant experience performing analysis of business processes and functions\t\t\t\tAdvanced skill in managing timelines/deadlines/resources; ensuring successful project implementation; working across teams.\t\t\t\tCreate prototypes for testing to ensure design meets business and user objectives\t\t\t\tInfluence team members and business partners, explaining the impact of designing/developing with the end user in mind\t\t\t\tCollaborate with project teams to define solutions\t\t\t\tOperate within the right Design Thinking methodology based on the product, channel, audience, and the application requirements or workflow\t\t\t\tProactively draw out user experience or design issues and successfully address those issues to ensure projects stay on track to meet interim project milestones\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
