Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure that we have right supplies, in the right place, at the right time, while simultaneously minimizing inventory quantities and costs, by performing the following duties:· Preparing accurate and complete purchase orders for distribution and raw materials. Work closely with sales by placing orders, ensuring that purchases are recorded at the time of the request.· Reviewing order acknowledgements, update the sales team with revised costs, and expected date if needed.· Gathering pricing data, comparing vendor offers for shipping rate and material prices, and maintaining vendor information.· Managing the company’s inventory levels to determine when new purchases are needed.· Following up with vendors in the event of backorders/shortages/discrepancies, updating the team accordingly (i.e., vendor is shipping correct part today; vendor advised this ship date for backorders, etc.)· Maintaining detailed records of purchases, including quantities, shipping information, and costs associated with purchases.Requirements:· Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.· Ability to frequently check emails/in-office communications and respond in a timely fashion.· Strong computer skills· Excellent organizational skills· Keen eye for detail· Works well with others, possesses a high degree of interpersonal skills, and can create a working relationship with external vendors.· Sets high personal standard for consistent above-average performance.· Must have the ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm manner.· Must be able to work as a team to complete complicated, time-sensitive goals.· Physically able to perform duties such as standing for extended periods, squatting, bending, and lifting heavy objects.Experience:· Procurement/Receiving Clerical: 2 years (Required)· Database management: 2 (Required)· Effective communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.· Experience of working in an ERP system. 2 years (Required)· Familiarity with procurement policies, procedures, and industry standards.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:• 401(k)• 401(k) 4% Match• 401(k) matching• Dental insurance• Health insurance• Life insurance• Paid time off• Vision insuranceSchedule:• 8 hour shift• Monday to Friday• No weekends• OvertimeExperience:• Procurement: 1 year (Preferred)• Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)Ability to Commute:• Tulsa, OK (Required)Work Location: In person
