SUMMARYResponsible for meeting/exceeding sales and margin targets for the Walmart team. Drive the team to meet these targets by assisting with a strategic focus on product, pricing, channel management, and marketing. Manage the senior level relationships within Walmart and Sam’s Club as well as create the strategy and long-range plan for the business. Lead the team in Bentonville by developing team members and driving extraordinary results.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReports to the global head of sales and serves as the primary leader of the Walmart business to key process partners internally and externally.Creates the vision, strategy and long-range plan to drive the business within our largest trade customer, Walmart, as well as Walmart.com and Sam’s Club.Lead the annual planning and budgeting process for the Walmart & Sam’s Club Business.Delivers the growth and profitability targets necessary to deliver our corporate goals.Builds and maintains customer relationships, and partner with retailers’ senior leadership to develop strategies to drive the business.Maintains and grow business in while opening new doors to gain business in other departmentsManage and develop a team including Acct Managers, Operations Manager, Sales Analysts and Replenishment Analyst.Partner in developing, monitoring, and analyzing forecasts to maximize sales and profitOversee the sales call process and planning, including account strategy, product assortment, and pricing.Maintain an effective knowledge of external market factors including competitive information to be able to make educated account decisions and product recommendationsWork cross-functionally with all areas including Operations, Product Development, and Channel to drive customer initiativesOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE+10 years of CPG sales experienceMust have 5 years of leadership experienceExperience in the consumer products industry with strong sales channel relationships with national and regional retailers requiredPrior experience in building global relationships and a collaborative team environmentEDUCATION & SKILLSBachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university or equivalent work experienceMBA preferredAbility to execute and excel in high-paced organizationStrong leadership, management experienceAbility to deal with changing environments, tight timelines and multiple prioritiesOutstanding oral and presentation-based communication skillsCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSCOMPUTER/TYPING SKILLSMust be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
