Reporting to the department manager, this position will facilitate daily oversight of workflow, assignment of work, and alignment of resources. This position will demonstrate an advanced level of proficiency with multiple payers and basic, complex, and clinical products offered within the home medical equipment division. Exhibit advanced knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements to support successful billing and collection efforts. Identify areas of improvement to reduce avoidable adjustments and enable positive reimbursement efforts. Real time ability to re-direct resources to manage workflow based on volume and business need. Utilize process checks for a routine quality review of staff work. Identify trends and collaborate with leadership to develop and deploy action planning to mitigate future occurrence. Function as a subject matter expert ensuring the patient needs are evaluated and dispensed based on disease process. Skillfully interact and build relationships with a multi-disciplinary team including: RN; PT; RT; OT; MD/providers, customers, staff, and members of the HME division. Demonstrate advanced customer service levels to employees, customers, and patients during every interaction. Collaboratively work within a diverse team environment. Promote a culture of engagement to strengthen team commitment. Function as a resource to the team, train, mentor, and educate daily.
