What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis or Data Science.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
- Strong skills in Python and Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with SQL and Azure for data querying and management.
- Experience with Jupyter notebooks.
- Familiarity with retail, marketing, and customer analysis concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong business acumen and a genuine curiosity about business processes and data.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Basic knowledge of R or other data science tools is a plus.
- Experience working in a retail or marketing environment.
What will you do?
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Data Management:
- Utilize SQL and Azure to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
- Support data integrity and quality assurance processes.
- Technical Skills:
- Apply Python and Excel expertise for data analysis and light data science tasks, including statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Use SQL-lite for database management and querying.
- Business Acumen:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Demonstrate a strong curiosity to learn about the business, ask insightful questions, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communication:
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist in the development of documentation and training materials for end-users.
