Description GeneralSummary:The Product Marketing Manager, Sales Enablement is responsible for conceiving, developing and maintaining innovative enablement strategies that drive engagement and understanding for identified sales personas. This individual will build positive relationships with their PMM colleagues and will be responsible for driving the overall success of the sales enablement program. This role requires product expertise, influence, business and marketing savvy and close collaboration with stakeholders across marketing, product management, partner success, and sales teams. A focus on strategy and an eye for quality, along with the ability to build positive relationships throughout ConnectWise is crucial. The Product Marketing Manager, Sales Enablement will be the expert in buyer behavior and will transfer that knowledge throughout the all sales teams. Essential Duties andResponsibilities:Act as a cross-functional and embedded member of the Product Marketing team, translating market, competitive and product materials into digestible content for the Revenue team Work with the Product Management team to keep the sales team abreast of product updates- specifically what they mean for both prospects and existing customers Create and maintain sales collateral including pitch decks, one-pagers, messaging cheat sheets, email templates, video scripts, talking points, etc. Track efficacy of messaging, packaging and pricing by conducting A/B testing, tracking conversion, and gathering feedback from the sales team Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape, researching established and emerging competitors and sharing relevant updates with the Product and Revenue teams regularly Determines growth opportunities for underperforming products Working with, and presenting to executives on enablement initiatives Drive the end-to-end planning processes and core priority setting. Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor market trends and competitive landscape Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of ConnectWise's products Ability to do unified product demonstrations, delivering presentations to customers and prospects Technical Product Marketing - Craft overall messaging, message matrix and positioning for internal organizations Translate technical capabilities into benefits and value proposition Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to establish themselves as a leader amongst the sales organization Has a thorough and deep understanding of the Technology Solution Provider Market and its submarkets Leverages relationships and trust to influence teams to drive change Identify organizational problems and tackle them Strong communication skills and presentation skills; verbal and written, with the ability to communicate across business and technology Ability to maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments. Work across multiple teams to help connect the moving parts in a very dynamic and fluid environment. Excellent problem structuring, identification, and resolution; Analyzing competitors' strategy, including a deep understanding of competitors' product portfolios down to feature level expertise Identifying opportunities to out-position competitors based on areas of product differentiation, both in the short and long term Ability to translate ideas into clear, high impact communications (e.g. emails, papers); Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results Ability to define and create use cases, detailed personas, key themes, customer lifecycle messaging, differentiated value propositions and ROI, and sales enablement readiness in partnership with other product marketing managers, product management and sales teams. Strong business awareness and acumen Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:Bachelor's degree required and MBA preferred Product Marketing Certification preferred 7years of job-related experience in roles such as marketing or sales, evangelism, program management, or product management within a mature/growing software organization Working Conditions:Professional office environment 20%-40% global travel may be required The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
