They will be accountable for both net new and retention targets.In addition, the Channel Sales Associate will conduct him/herself in a manner that will create a strong motivation to promote Consolidated Communications' services. This position requires a high level of sales discipline and deal urgency, working in conjunction the Channel Managers, Engineering and Channel Sales Support resources.Responsibilities• Focused on closing net new revenue and retaining business for contracts comprised of $250.00 monthly revenue and below.• Highly proficient in data, voice, and associated network solutions which are core to CCI's portfolio and this segment of identified revenue.• Capacity to receive, respond, track, and ultimately win business from various sources of revenue within the Consolidated Communications Channel eco-system.• Command of SalesForce.com; including, but not limited to: tasks, quote creation, opportunity stage discipline, and revenue forecasting with a minimum of 85% accuracy.• Target growth opportunities and facilitate deeper relationships with Partners both individually and in a teaming fashion with Channel Managers.• Ability to communicate independently across key divisions of the Channel Organization to meet objectives and exceed attainments.• Engage in Renewal efforts, that include, but not limited to: identifying in-window client targets, needs assessment, quote construction & delivery, contract sale & entry.• Write adds, moves and changes for Indirect Customers.• Attends weekly Channel Team meetings and individual accountability sessions with Director• Reports for work on time and maintains a satisfactory attendance record.• Reports for work remotely from their primary residence.Qualifications• 4-year degree or the equivalent in experience.• 3+ years technical sales experience.• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.• Ability to maintain self-motivation.• Excellent presentation skills.• Strong organizational and time management skills.• Strong computer skills.• Indirect Telecommunications and/or data experience preferred.• Sales persuasiveness• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving recordBenefits OfferedWe are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package:• 401(k) matching• Medical, Rx, Dental and Vision insurance• Disability insurance• Flexible spending account• Health savings account• Life insurance• Tuition reimbursement• Paid vacation and personal days• Paid holidays• Employee Assistance ProgramSalaryPay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $34,705 - $52,597Equal Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, marital status, familial status, genetics, disability, age, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
