Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist - multiple levels - CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED

Python, C++, jupyter, Pig, STARPROC, ASDF, customer tools, XKS, dataflow models, React JavaScript, VPN, TOR, pyspark


Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.


Required:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
  • This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to the job you are applying for:
  • Level 04 requires a minimum thirteen (13) years of experience w/ Degree
  • Level 03 requires a minimum ten (10) years of experience w/ Degree
  • Level 02 requires a minimum seven (07) years of experience w/ Degree
  • Level 01 requires a minimum four (04) years of experience w/ Degree
  • Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security).
  • Must have experience in Python to help solve complex cryptographic challenges and analyze large-scale datasets.
  • Relevant experience must be in a computer science area (i.e. theoretical or applied), designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematic models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g. algorithm or development) to study issues and solve problems, engineering (electrical or computer), and/or high-performance computing.
  • Need to have strong programming skills, experience in cryptography, and the ability to work with distributed data processing frameworks.


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Ability to develop and implement algorithms to break codes, secure information, and enhance cybersecurity measures.
  • Supports TSR (TechSIGINT revitalization); Background in ELINT a bonus but not required
  • Software development skills needed
  • Understanding of geolocation
  • Building analytics, flexibility to work on front-end or back-end.
  • Be able to utilize mathematical models, methods and/or techniques in order to study issues found and solve problems.
  • CNO support in net pursuit.
  • Location of movement; Pattern of Life analysis/persona using analytics; Mobile experience
  • Knowledge of quantum technologies to provide analytical commentary on adversarial capabilities
  • Expertise in information analysis, rapid prototyping, devops, or analytic development using customer frameworks, tools, and techniques.
  • Python development in Kubernetes cluster (docker, kube, python). Some DS skills as well: data analysis, machine learning, clustering


$100,000 - $230,000 a year
The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
