ECG’s Oncology Services works with providers across the country to address a variety of strategic and operational challenges. Our team is made up of professionals who are passionate about transforming one of the most complex service lines in modern healthcare. We partner with clients to design strategies that enable programs to improve their service offerings and ultimately enhance patient experience and outcomes. Our detailed plans incorporate qualitative findings with data-driven strategic, operational, and financial considerations that enable organizations to pursue realistic change, bridging the divide between innovation and implementable solutions.
Your Opportunity with ECG: Consultant or Senior Consultant
As a consultant or senior consultant at ECG, you’ll be an important part of our consulting team. Not only will you partner with some of the industry’s best to reach your highest goals, but you will also make a real difference in people’s lives. Here, no two days or projects are alike, which means you’ll have a lot to learn and plenty of support to help you succeed.
Your Responsibilities May Include:

Analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting data to inform client recommendations.

Performing detailed, quantitative analysis; building Microsoft Excel models; and preparing operational and financial projections.

Leading information-gathering efforts.

Helping develop a project’s approach, strategies, and work plans.

Conducting stakeholder interviews.
-
Developing project findings and recommendations.
-
Preparing project materials and reports.
-
Presenting final deliverables to client sponsors.
-
Assisting in the design and implementation of recommended solutions.
-
Working closely with multiple project teams and ECG senior consulting leaders.
-
Communicating with management and executive-level client staff.
-
Taking responsibility for project outcomes.
-
Learning about ECG’s breadth of solutions and identifying those that reflect personal and professional interests.

Participating in peer and junior staff knowledge development and career advancement.

Acting as an ECG ambassador within personal, professional, and alumni networks.
Our Expectations of You
-
Three or more years of experience in oncology-specific healthcare consulting and/or cancer hospital or service line administration
-
Strong knowledge of and passion for cancer services
-
Master’s degree in business administration and/or master’s degree in a health-related field; bachelor’s degree in business or a health-related field preferred
-
Proven track record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects
-
Demonstrated diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative skills
-
Track record of strong client service
-
Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibilities
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
-
Strong written and verbal presentation skills
-
Ability to travel at least 40% of the time
