Who you are:
You're self-motivated and self-directed with a passion for building and maintaining relationships with Dataminr customers and its Partner ecosystem. As a trusted technical advisor, you understand your customers' strategic objectives and help them achieve success in line with success and growth objectives. As a Senior CSE, you'll combine your technical aptitude, outstanding communication skills, and creative problem solving to cross-functionally collaborate across Dataminr's GTM organization. You will serve as a pre/post sales SME in implementing Dataminr's solutions wit Next> h our growing network of Dataminr technology partners. CSEs are part of the Global Solutions Engineering team, and you work closely with Dataminr's Strategic Partnerships organization, Sales and Product teams.
Your impact:
- Business Problem Solving: Take ambiguous and complex problems, and using research and critical analysis/assessment capabilities drive ideas, define the opportunities, and recommend actionable next steps. As a Dataminr technical expert, you know how to solve problems for your customers as well as identify opportunities for new use cases across your customers' portfolio. In addition to becoming an expert on Dataminr's core capabilities, you will also learn how it is best leveraged within integrated environments. With this expertise you will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for both end users and internal stakeholders.
- Trusted Advisor: You'll become a trusted advisor to customers and partners assisting them to get as much value out of our platform as possible. You will help key customers and partners with the decision making process by presenting and evaluating the Dataminr solution, and communicate best practices.
- Cross-functional Integration: You will work cross-functionally to develop partner solutions, identify product enhancements, and build internal processes that scale. You will support technical partner activities across strategic services partners that recommend, deploy and manage Dataminr as well as strategic technology partners in which we develop joint & complementary solutions. You will work with your Solutions Engineering and Customer Success colleagues to provide client-facing technical integration and advisory support. You, along with support from the Global Solutions Engineering organization and Dataminr's Product team, will work closely with the Dataminr Partner leadership to develop comprehensive technical plans for strategic partners, including identifying, incubating, and bringing to market service/solution offerings based on key Dataminr objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Account Executives/Managers, Pre-Sales Engineers and the Post-Sales Customer Success organization to support solution design, POCs for expansion efforts, integrations, and related implementations with an integrations focus.
- Provide solution design, implementation best practices and technical support/configuration to end users that are leveraging third party integrations
- Support POCs/POVs with advisement on how to achieve outlined goals and success criteria to show Dataminr value
- Collect customer and partner feedback and clearly articulate product recommendations for Dataminr product development with our engineering and product teams
- Maintain close coordination with the product teams that are developing connectors and API integrations; identify performance issues at the app, API, and data tiers, as well as offer solutions for improvement
- Build and support the technical relationships with GSI, channel, technology/cloud partners, support internal/external technical enablement, and develop associated documentation
- Lead technical discussions with partners and provide related expertise in support of partner sales and marketing activities
- Distill and communicate partner needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales
- Provide oversight, guidance, and assistance during the partners sales process to ensure mutual success
- Develop domain expertise and thought leadership regarding the partners's current areas of focus as well as in new areas for expansion
- Advise on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, and platforms/application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution.
- Work with partner technical representatives in opportunities and projects, complementing their skill, and guaranteeing high quality customer deliverables.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years in enterprise security software or SaaS environments with hands-on technical experience, either as a Solutions/Sales/Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Security Engineer or senior level product support
- Collaborative mindset, with experience working internally with Customer Management, Product, and Engineering teams
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on performing technical demos and creating presentations for senior level engagement
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to a wide range of audiences, including technical and non-technical customers into clear business benefit
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Broad understanding and experience with various frameworks, tools, and technologies (including challenges exposing/consuming data through APIs)
- Understanding and experience with front end web solutions (HTML, CSS, Javascript), as well as a basic understanding of APIs (OpenAPIs, JSON, RESTful APIs)
- Self-motivation and an ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Solid technical skills and aptitude are required - databases, data integration processes, and various SaaS platforms are considered relevant
- Ability to think on your feet and problem solve in real-time
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a strong focus on delivering the best possible client experience
- History of conducting large-scale assessments and/or evaluations, including managing expectations, deliverables, and complex systems as well as the teams that support them
- Broad understanding of Cyber Threat Intelligence valued
- Experience in Enterprise or Cloud Security, including cloud/SaaS platforms, data/information protection, network, endpoint, NOC/SOC, or MSP-related cybersecurity a plus

Colorado: $112,500 - $144,00 USD
California/New York/Washington: $125,000 - $160,000 USD
