This Content Activation Manager role reports into the Director, Content Activation and will support the analysis and content delivery of market activation programs across various brands, occasions, and initiatives for our customers. This role translates brand plans into market activation enabling brands to come to life for consumers in a more consistent way across retailers, while also balancing the needs of our retailer partners. This role influences stakeholders across the organization to maximize market activation and drives successful activation to achieve objectives and joint business plan goals. This is an individual contributor role, and the successful candidate should have comprehensive knowledge in this space and the ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.
POSITION PURPOSE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops shopper programming for customer activation which include customer specific programs, toolkit development, and tailored national programs.
Acts as subject matter expert to ensure all elements (i.e., custom POS, packaging, digital, etc.), protect the company’s rights, trademarks and investment while serving the best interest of our customers and assets.
70% of time in support of customers and 30% in support of marketing execution Playbooks
Consults to ensure customer marketing is represented & timelines/deliverables are communicated to enable holistic asset integration, LOS and marketing deliverable and holistic End to End Execution and System integration overall and within Playbooks.
Build relationships and partnerships across customer, brands, and agencies to deliver best in class programming enabling the business goals.
Manages project and agency creative budgets and timelines
Serves as primary creative interface for local agencies
Knowledge of customer go to market strategies and tactics and ability to influence key stakeholders
Stewardship of brand strategy and visual identity
Budget and project timeline management
Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects on-time, on-budget and with executional excellence
Ability to drive new ways of working and find more efficient and effective ways to deliver brilliant work
Qualification & Requirements
5+ years of marketing/brand experience in the field of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)
Experience in commercial and/or customer leadership including customer facing and key accounts experience is essential
Solid Project Management, influencing & communication skills are required
A strong working knowledge of media and agency management
Must possess the ability to deliver projects in a complex matrix organization (multi-market & functions)
Experience with experiential marketing, digital marketing, social media, promotional events, and marketing campaigns
Strong leadership voice and willing to provide point of view
Base Salary: $120,300 to $146,200
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, are offered.
