Content Strategist

Foundry is seeking an innovative and talented Content Strategist to join our global team.

Foundry’s marketing services team works with B2B technology clients to create compelling storytelling and thought leadership to help marketers attract and engage with technology buyers. The Content Strategist will join a global team of content directors, strategists, and specialists that creates transformational marketing programs for the world’s largest technology companies. In this role, you will apply a mix of editorial and content marketing expertise. You will provide strategic guidance at the earliest stages of client engagements, using data-driven insights from a variety of sources to align content deliverables and brand messaging with our clients’ objectives.

The ideal candidate has a global mindset, journalistic curiosity, attention to detail, and excellent content-creation skills. This is a client-facing position that requires a professional presence and ability to develop ongoing client relationships. The Content Strategist will report to the Sr. Director of Content Strategy in the US.
Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing content strategy and production for client campaigns, including all aspects of ideation and content development, specifically editing and occasional writing.
  • Participating in client meetings to represent content operations, communicate status of deliverables, exchange ideas, etc.
  • Developing content for a variety of digital content formats, including white papers, blog posts, long-form articles, interactive infographics, advertising copy, webcasts, and videos.
  • Managing the work of in-house experts, freelance writers, and other contractors, including making project assignments and editing copy across all stages of content development and production.
  • Working with internal project management, research, sales, and other teams to ensure that all client needs are met throughout the content planning, development, and delivery process.
  • Copywriting to support lead generation, promotional campaigns, and content development.
  • Responding to client briefs in collaboration with commercial teams.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years as a journalist or content marketing strategist for a media company or agency
  • Strong writing and editing skills – adept at storytelling for a B2B technology audience
  • Data-driven and tech-savvy attitude
  • The ability and resilience to manage multiple campaigns and work to tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Sharp eye for detail and QA/proofing skills
  • Creative and innovative personality and approach
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders
