This is our role Content Writer for creative souls and natural-born writers who know their way around words.
Write clear and helpful blog posts that deliver incredible value to our readers and rank well on Google.
Write email copy that excites and engages our subscribers.
Explain SEO and digital marketing concepts and processes in step-by-step detail.
Revise content as necessary to meet our content quality standards.
Research topics to improve your knowledge, expand upon topics, and strengthen originality of content.
Collaborate with our team members, designers, editors, and strategists as needed to produce outstanding work.
Work with internal and external subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate and useful.
Experience writing long-form, comprehensive blog content that addresses its target keyword’s search intent.
Hands-on SEO experience. (Bonus points for marketing experience in other areas, too, like PPC, SMM, and CRO.)
Strong understanding of the digital marketing industry.
Experience using Semrush tools or our competitors’ tools.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a team.
Ability to take feedback and make changes as required.
Strong project-management and time-management skills.
High attention to detail.
Respect for deadlines.
Ability to write in American English with native-level proficiency.
You have experience in other marketing areas like PPC, e-commerce, analytics, or SMM.

This position is open in the Marketing Team of the Platform & Core Division. The P&C Division is the result of a merger of two teams—Semrush Core and Semrush App Center. The goal of our division is to ensure and accelerate the process of evolution of Semrush from the best SEO tool on the market to the best all-in-one platform for all areas of digital marketing.
Thus, the marketing team has two primary focuses to support: our SEO toolkit releases and the App Center.
Currently, the team includes a Content Lead, who owns the team's content strategy and executes it. We collaborate with internal and external creative and content agencies, but we want a full-time Content Writer within our team.
