Job Summary & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the contracting lifecycle process for all Nevro Commercial Contracts. This includes, but is not limited to, activities associated with pre-contract (proposal, negotiation, contract formation and final approval/signatures); contract steady state (amendments, change orders, correspondence, contract repository, contract issues); and post-contract (renewal, extension and closeout or termination)
  • Suggests and negotiates changes through redlines and discussions with field-based sales teams, National Accounts teams and/or customers
  • Creates customer contracts using Nevro Legal templates
  • Reviews and redlines business items on Customer paper contracts
  • Prepares and routes contracts for signature(s) and obtains signatures from authorized company representatives electronically
  • Provides operational support to US Commercial Sales team through internal system
  • Partners with Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and other cross-functional teams on customer facing issues
  • Manages customer pricing for assigned regions within ERP systems
  • Assists with audit and compliance activities as assigned
  • Partners with Sales and other applicable cross-functional teams to develop efficiencies through innovative thinking, system enhancements and sharing of best practices
  • Assists with monthly and quarterly functions of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts and ensure compliance with all internal audit requirements and adherence to SOX controls
  • Other duties as assigned
Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required or 3-5 equivalent years of experience may be substituted for the education requirement
  • BS/BA preferred in business and 2 years of commercial contract administration experience; medical device experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying process improvements and implementing solutions
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Demonstrated a solid understanding of Contracts and the Contracts lifecycle
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills (both written and verbal)
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to understand contracts and legal terminology
  • Ability to adjust and adapt to changing job requirements and priorities to meet the dynamic needs of the business
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and the ability to meet deadlines as required with a high sense of urgency
  • Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a focus on business issues
  • Experience with ERP Systems (QAD a plus)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with DocuSign and Apttus (or other similar contract management systems) preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Experience supporting Sales teams
  • Previous experience in Medical Devices a plus
Target Pay Range:

$62,625 - $86,109 . The final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as whether Senior or Principal level, education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geography. *Nevro is a multi-state employer, so the target pay range may increase or decrease depending on the city/state.
