POSITION OVERVIEW
The Medicare Network Operations team that ensures provider contracts are submitted and monitored through the loading process. This position is responsible for all executed contracts and functions as the liaison with the Provider Operations (data management) and Contracting teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Submit executed provider contracts for loading and monitor the loading process.
Interface with matrix partners for network implementation and maintenance.
Function as a liaison between internal key matrix partners (PDM, PDQ, Configuration) to ensure delivery of operational excellence.
Initiate and monitor the provider credentialing requests.
Setup delegation arrangements and data exchanges for new provider groups.
Assist in resolving elevated and complex provider service complaints, highly complex issues, and/or escalated issues.
Support provider termination process and coordination of efforts to retain members impacted by terms.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of healthcare insurance industry, terminology, provider networks, contracting and credentialing preferred.
Ability to develop an understanding of market-specific nuances and network constructs.
Detail oriented, with proven time management and organization skills (including the ability to engage in multiple tasks and meet deadlines/standards)
Be a positive role model and have the ability to work independently and in conjunction with co-workers of all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability and willingness to share knowledge.
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation.
Working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Success will be measured by timeliness and accuracy of contracts loaded into the provider network.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 25 - 37 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
