We are currently looking for a Contracts Manager to add to our team. This will be a remote opportunity based in the Central time zone, ideally. The Contracts Manager will provide contract drafting, editing and review, ensuring terms and conditions are consistent within the areas of the business. They will also be responsible for contract management, legal review, contracts negotiation, insurance policies and limits, and various contract types and forms.
Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of contracting process and contract issues, design, procurement and construction regulations and terms and conditions.

Ability to analyze and negotiate contract requirements and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and company objectives and approach.

Timely review of all contracts, change orders, modifications and amendments.

Ensure that all contract changes are recorded and communicated with the appropriate staff.

Implement and maintain contract tracking processes and policies.

Occasionally evaluate and support the client procurement process and RFQ/RFPs from a contractual, compliance, business and financial perspective.

Assist in the generation of consultant contracts.

Develop external relationships with client contract management counterparts, client procurement and third party personnel, as may be required.

Manage multiple tasks, projects, deadlines.

Serve as the point of contact for customers and internal staff on contractual matters. Act as contractual “middleman” between company employees and customers, ensuring timely review and approval / reconciliation of variations.
- On all standard and nonstandard contracts, provide red-lined recommendations and often negotiate directly with client attorneys or purchasing staff until consensus has been reached.

Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports, executed documents and other documents for all projects.

Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.).

Oversee Service Level Agreement Compliance.

Ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal.
